Mikel Arteta has warned that he needs to see a “reaction” when his Arsenal stars return from their vacation and pre-season preparations begin.
The Gunners are expected to return to education this weekend before the start of the new Premier League season on September 12.
Arteta took Arsenal to eighth place after taking over as coach last December, replacing fired coach Unai Emery, and widely praised for bringing a warmer football logo to the Emirates.

But Arteta insists that her stars will have to be hungry for good fortune and will be watching the atmosphere in the locker room for the preseason.

Arteta is looking for a more important position in the league next season after Arsenal fell to its lowest point in 25 years last year.
