Milan Box’s RB Leipzig striker as Zirkzee’s pick – report

Milan’s first-choice striker for the summer transfer window remains Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee, but with plenty of interest in the former Bayern Munich striker, the Rossoneri could turn to RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko as an alternative, according to reports on Friday.

Zirkzee has been on Milan’s target list for several months in the summer, but Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have a €40 million buy-back option. There is also interest from the Premier League, Manchester United, in taking him on.

According to Calciomercato. com, Milan now have a selection moment in the Sesko user.

Official talks have yet to materialise between Milan and RB Leipzig, but Milan are keen to explore Sesko as an option, according to reports on Friday.

There is one striker that Milan admires: Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP.

The former Coventry City striker has scored 32 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions this season but has a release clause believed to be worth €100 million, which would make life difficult for the Rossoneri.
