Barcelona’s new recruit, Miralem Pjanic, arrived in the Spanish city on Thursday night after recovering from COVID-19.
“I sit in a position and recovered. I spent a few weeks at home, but I tried to stay in shape. Now I look forward to joining the group,” Pjanic told reporters at the airport, according to the club’s website.
“Today is a very special day for me and I am very happy. I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and I’m on the hunt for the new season. I hope I can help the team win a lot of titles. “I’m in a position and I’m going to try to do everything I can for this club. “
Pjanic, 30, had been isolated since August 23 after being positive for COVID-19.
Its control effects were transparent after two weeks in quarantine and he was allowed to travel to Spain.
Pjanic’s 60 million euro ($71 million) play by Italian club Juventus was sealed in June after the midfielder signed a four-year contract with Barcelona.
He helped Juventus win four Serie A titles, two Italian Cup trophies and one Italian Super Cup.
The Bosnian also played for Metz de France and Olympique de Lyon, as well as for ITALIAN AS Roma in his career.
