Miralem Pjanic del Barcelona contrae coronavirus

Istanbul

Spanish football giant Barcelona showed on Sunday that Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic had been tested for the new coronavirus.

“Miralem Pjanic tested positive for a PCR on Saturday, August 22 after feeling a little bad. The player is fit and self-aies at home,” Barca said on his website.

“The player will therefore not be in Barcelona for 15 days, when he will have to show up for the draws with the FC Barcelona team,” they added.

In June, Pjanic moved to Barca from Italian Juventus, signing a four-year contract with a move of 60 million euros ($70 million).

He helped Juventus win 4 Serie A titles, two Italian Cup trophies and an Italian Super Cup.

The 30-year-old has played for Frenchmen such as Metz and Olympique de Lyon, as well as for Italian Rome.
