Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, an update on his team’s fitness this afternoon before his next match with Fulham.
The Reds are expected to return to national action on Sunday night with a Craven Cottage.
Liverpool will begin the process in the midst of a combined era of form, having won only two of its last five in all competitions.
However, it should also be noted that the Merseysiders’ last outing in the Premier League, at home against the fit Wolves last weekend, saw Klopp’s men set off on their way to a 4-0 victory.
In turn, as things are, champions are stuck in trouble with Tottenham, the most sensitive of the English elite, well placed to protect their title.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s warplanes this weekend have developed very well in the crusade at this stage.
Scott Parker’s Fulham has lately come one position and one point ahead of the Premier League relegation zone, racking up 7 problems in his first 11 appearances.
The Cottagers, however, for their credit, seem to have taken a step forward in recent times, with a 2–1 win in Leicester two weeks ago, a focus of the season.
As such, his team, for apparent reasons, is entering the procedure as a favorite to score all 3 problems on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp will certainly be careful to underestimate a game for Fulham’s team.
And, before Liverpool to the capital, the German held his pre-match press convention this afternoon.
During the media exchange, Klopp approached a number of topics, most noted of which are the latest data on his team’s fitness.
The first is an update by Alisson, who of course missed the Reds’ last 3 outings because of a hamr tendon injury.
The latest news about the Brazilian, however, has been positive, with Klopp confirming that, as long as he manages to emerge unscathed on Friday, Liverpool’s No. 1 will take his place in opposite Fulham positions:
“Ali’s going to exercise today, that’s what I heard. I came here and came here directly to the press [of the conference], so all the meetings are after that and yes, Ali will exercise and if he exercises and everything is fine, then he will be able to play ».
Then there are troubling news about Kostas Tsimikas and the in-shape Diogo Jota.
Klopp revealed that any of the players had had physical fitness disorders opposed to Midtjylland during the week, so his participation in Craven Cottage was uncertain:
“We had a game two days ago and after the game we obviously had problems, I would say, but it may be more, we have to see. The diagnoses are not in spite of everything done. “
“Kostas we’ll have to see, Diogo we’ll have to see — he also won a blow. It’s from the game, I think. “
Finally, the Liverpool technician concluded:
“Other than that, Oxlade is following a general training. He’s been doing parts of education for about a week, now he’s in full education and let’s see. “
“So the scenario requires you to worry as soon as possible, but I don’t know if the weekend is already that. I’m afraid no one else is coming back. “
