One mother spoke of the moment when she saw with horror how a priest threw his screaming baby in the water at his baptism.
Cell phone video shows the priest plunging the crying baby into the baptismal fonts with the child’s legs hitting the steel rim several times, the devotional rite at a church in Limassol, Cyprus, on Saturday.
Mama Ntina Shitta went to Facebook after the rite and downloaded the provocative clip and filed an official complaint, according to Greek Reporter’s website.
