An Anfield Monument is a hotel for football enthusiasts visiting the Liverpool FC field.

Plans would turn the former Anfield Road police station into a tourist hostel.

According to documents submitted to the board via Anfield Road Holdings, Liverpool FC enthusiasts traveling to watch matches will be the target market for the 26-room hotel, about five minutes’ walk from Anfield Stadium.

Documents on the state of the local authority: “The proposal is to convert the existing construction into a guest room.

“What is for this specific discussion, there will be no place to eat or bar.

“The proposed bed and breakfast is basically destined for the market related to Anfield Stadium and is most likely occupied when the domain around it is also busy.”

The drafting documents go up that the exterior of the building, with its unique red brick pediments, would remain the same after the renovation.

They say “it’s already a nightmare” and that there will be more noise disturbances and antisocial behaviors if the plans are approved.
