Moretto provides updates on Juventus and Spurs target Albert Gudmundsson

Italian football journalist Matteo Moretto has weighed in on Albert Gudmundsson’s long career amid interest from Juventus, Inter and several other suitors.

The 26-year-old player has established himself as Genoa’s big star. He charmed Luigi Ferraris’ crowd with his effortless dribbling and sensational shooting.

The Icelandic star’s exploits in Liguria have gone unnoticed through many Italian and European clubs vying for his services.

In recent days, Italian news sources have pointed to Inter as favourites for the talented striker this summer.

But for Moretto there has still been no contact between Inter and the player’s representatives.

In his column in Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing, the Italian journalist insists that Gudmundsson is even a precedent for the Nerazzurri.

On the other hand, the Icelandic foreigner is being followed through Juventus and Roma. It has also attracted interest from Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur.

However, none of the player’s suitors have entered into concrete negotiations with Genoa at the moment.

Moretto reports that the Griffons will be paid between €25 million and €30 million if they combine tactics with their talisman.

This would be a primary reduction price for a player who charged him just $1. 5 million in January 2022.

For his part, Gudmundsson is keen to take a step forward in his career by signing for a club that plays in the Champions League, or at least the Europa League.

The second striker has contributed 12 goals and 4 assists in all competitions this season. His contract with the Griffon is valid until 2027.
