ROMA (AP) – Striker Lorenzo Insigne and other Napoli players have been out of the Italian national team for the upcoming matches due to considerations about the coronavirus.
Naples midfielder Piotr Zielinski and a team member tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday after constant testing at the club after playing in Genoa last weekend.
About 20 players and Genoa tested positive. Genoa players, such as goalkeeper Mattia Perin, have also been excluded from the Italian national team.

In addition, West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna, Lazio defender Manuel Lazzari and Sassuolo domenico Berardi striker have been called up for the first time in two years.
Italy will face Moldova in a friendly in Florence on Wednesday, then play two UEFA Nations League matches in Poland in October and face Holland in Bergamo 3 days later.
Italy is the most sensible in Group 1, one point ahead of the Netherlands and Poland.
