Nasser Al-Khelaifi: Trial against Paris Saint-Germain president begins Monday

Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi faces an incitement rate for mismanagement of offenders in a Swiss court on Monday.

The Qatari, who is part of the executive delegation of the European football governing body, UEFA, was charged in February through Swiss federal prosecutors on the grounds that he encouraged former FIFA Secretary-General Jerome Valcke to mismanagement him.

Al-Khelaifi denies the accusation.

Another denunciation of criminals alleging bribes opposing Al-Khelaifi fell after the world’s governing body of football, FIFA, withdrew its complaint.

An undisclosed agreement was reportedly reached between Al-Khelaifi and FIFA.

Al-Khelaifi’s lawyers said in a statement: “The vast majority of this case fear our consumer in some way.

“To the extent that this is the case, we look forward to presenting the facts to the court, especially since this is the first time in nearly 4 years that we have the right to a defense.

“In the face of any doubt, the recent secondary reporting rate” is “manifestly synthetic and has no legal or de facto basis; we have no doubt that our consumer will be discovered innocent. “

Valcke allegedly won and did not disclose 3 bills totaling 1. 25 million euros (1. 15 million pounds) from an unidentified third defendant, allegedly handed over to him for attempting to influence the allocation of press rights for FIFA tournaments.

Valcke was also accused of falsifying documents related to the way those alleged invoices were recorded in his company’s accounts.

The Swiss Federal Criminal Court in Bellinzone will hear the case from Monday, and the court’s online page says it will run until September 25, it may continue until October 2. A resolution will be made at a later date.

Valcke’s 10-year ban on all football-related activities, imposed through FIFA, confirmed by the Court of Arbitration in 2018.
