Former NBA gunning baseman Nate Robinson said he is still contemplating returning to the basketball court while being educated for a boxing attack opposed to YouTube star Jake Paul.
Robinson, who is scheduled to face Paul on Mike Tyson’s billboard opposite Roy Jones Jr. on November 28, told Eric Woodyard of ESPN in an interview posted Thursday that he would like to have a shot in the NBA:
“Oui. Si, it’s possible. I just need to have the ability to show a team, even at 36, that can keep playing and keep playing, be a smart spark on the bench. But times have replaced, the NBA has replaced so No, I’ll never say I’m retired, they took me out, I didn’t retire.
“Of course, I’d love to play hoop. I would love to be able to finish my career by betting the game I love and showing them that I can play and be effective. Even if it’s five minutes, 10 minutes, be there to help in whatever you want. Whatever they want me, I’m here.
