Alberto Bueno has signed for the Greek team Volos as a loose agent, on the club’s website.
The 32-year-old former Derby County forward left Portuguese club Boavista in the summer.
He went on to the youth formula of Real Madrid and played three League games with the first team before signing for Valladolid.
He signed for Derby in August 2010 on loan for one season.
His deyet for the Rams as a replacement in a home defeat to Sheffield United, however, settled on the team and scored twice in a 5-0 home win over Crystal Palace.
The result sparked a six-win streak and an eight-game draw, and Bueno was congratulated through Rams coach Gary Crosthrough. “Alberto is an herbal footballer, his conscience, tact and talent are exceptional,” Crosthrough said.
Well, he played 29 league games this season and scored goals before returning to Valladolid.
He also played for Rayo Vallecano and Porto, and was loaned to Granada, Leganés and Malaga.
