Few players for both a club and Jess Navas for Sevilla.
The ties are so strong that Navas, 34, already has a stadium with his call in the center of the club in Seville.
“Navas is part of the history of Sevilla,” said director Ramón “Monchi” Rodriguez before the Europa League final between Sevilla and Inter Milan in Germany.
Navas is expected to make his 528th appearance for Sevilla in Friday’s match, and may be the player with the highest titles in the Spanish club’s history.
Sevilla will earn a sixth record name in the Europa League, and would be Navas’ third name at the second division club festival in Europe, the first as captain. It would be his seventh general name with the club, ahead of a number of former birthdaymakers.
No one has played more games or reached more finals with the 130-year-old club, which he joined as a teenager and is at the time after spending four seasons with Manchester City in the Premier League.
Navas is also the player with the highest assists for Sevilla, with his 102nd Sunday assisting striker Luuk de Jong to score the purpose of the victory in the final of the semi-final against Manchester United. Navas also received assistance that led the team to its first European final in 2006.

“It’s great to have a stadium that bears my name, but it also means a lot of responsibility,” Navas told the AP in a recent interview. “As a player who has crossed the club’s youth groups like me, I am guilty of passing on our values to young players, guilty of publicizing the importance of being humble and running hard, which is the ultimate vital.”
Navas all Of Sevilla’s Europa League matches in Germany, where he eliminated Roma in the 16th circular and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarter-finals before overtaking Manchester United.
The first Navas Europa League titles were held in 2006 and 2007. He also helped the club win the Copa del Rey in 2007 and 2010, such as the 2006 UEFA Super Cup and the 2007 Spanish Super Cup.
Navas, who can play as both a midfielder and a defender for the bands, has also made his mark on the Spanish national team. He helped “La Roja” win the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship. It was Navas who started the race that led to Andrés Iniesta’s purpose for the World Cup, and it was his last purpose in an organization opposed to Croatia that helped Spain to succeed in the quarter-finals of Euro 2012.
No Sevilla player has more appearances with Spain than Navas.
Navas made his first-team debut for Sevilla in 2003 and remained at the club for a decade before signing for Man City, whom he helped win the Premier League in his first season. Navas returned to Sevilla in 2017, on contract until the end of next season.
If this is your last contract with the club, you will only have Navas.
“Jess,” Monchi said, “will remain in Seville as long as he remains in Seville.”
