NBA 2K21 doesn’t seem to flicker at massive expectations.
The newest in the long NBA series, this time with Portland Trail Star Blazers Damian Lillard on the cover, he discovers himself not only coming out of a strong inning, but also faces an increase in enthusiasm just because it’s the end of a generation of consoles.
The 2K Sports team is able to respond in the same way, especially with some of the photographs in a published position in the game’s progress:
This year’s game has a lot of pre-order data to digest despite the presence of only two editions: Standard and the “Mamba Forever” edition in honor of the past Kobe Bryant. Players who pre-order the popular edition get more bonuses, including additional virtual currency, MyTeam points, MyCareer capacity upgrades, and more.
The special edition of the game includes a code to unlock the game edition on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X if purchased on those respective consoles. The Mamba edition pre-order unlocks many of the same bonuses as doing the same for editing, albeit in larger quantities.
Of course, players may not resume the annual series if it doesn’t work smoothly with updates.
This year, one of the biggest problems speaking is the evolution of the Pro Stick. It’s no longer just a way to get shots, the stick now gives players more about dribbling moves and even adjustments to the way shots occur.
The shot is now more than just timing the throw of the stick, because when interacting with a shot and then being accurate in a new meter you make the decision whether a shot crosses the net or hits the edge. And while players are on the loose to disable the new mechanism and re-shoot like previous games, NBA 2K game director Mike Wang believes the competitive network will adopt it for its skill-based details:
“And since shooting with the stick provides a little more complexity than just holding down and releasing a button, it also carries a higher risk/reward. If you can master the shot with the Stick Pro, have a top roof to get vegetables and make tough shots, so I’m pretty sure this will be the selection approach of many competitive 2K players.”
And while there won’t be anything more shocking than radically turning shooting into a basketball game, NBA 2K21 doesn’t hesitate to make big changes in some beloved modes and features.
A new MyTeam Limited mode is a type of weekend tournament occasion for players that offers competitive tournaments with rings in the game. Win rings to win prizes at the end of a season: it’s not the ultimate revolutionary concept as other games have done in the past, however, as noted here, MyTeam will surely have a good fortune to activate players to return for a long time. Time.
And the word “season” used on purpose above. MyTeam is also more geared towards classic online games this year. MyTeam will feature seasons with exclusive content, adding demanding situations and rewards, and is a progression that will get players back to check each content drop.
These features were also discussed in the game videos:
As progress continues on the next generation of consoles, it is transparent that one of the biggest advances of the year is happening within MyTeam. And with everything that’s customizable and a background of streetball taste to lean on, it’s no wonder that this is the ultimate mode driven throughout the game and one that helps keep players engaged for the long term.
Changing some key game elements, setting key modes, and intelligently navigating a console transition means that 2K21 projects keep the show’s strong position intact as a new generation of consoles is released.
