The COVID-19 pandemic has interrupted the 2019-2020 NBA season and radically replaced its schedule, so it’s no surprise that major off-season dates aren’t yet engraved in stone.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the NBA and its players agreed to postpone a number of notable dates for the foreseeable future, such as the October 16 draft, the agency’s start on October 18 and early 2020. -Season 21.
The new dates have not yet been determined, but Charania more details:

Under circumstances, the NBA Finals end in June, the draft takes place later that month and the loose company begins in the first week of July.
Such a timetable allows the NBA to remain applicable during the summer with firm, loose rumors and superstars turning groups and making headlines. The normal season usually begins at the end of October.
Clearly, that was not imaginable this year given all that has developed.
The NBA suspended its season on March 11 amid the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed play in a bubble environment at Walt Disney World Resort last July. The playoffs continue and are in the round of the moment, and the finals will last until October.
Delaying key off-season dates can give groups advancing in the playoffs an adequate amount of time to compare their lists and switch to off-season mode.
There is also the truth that the lack of arena enthusiasts, potentially for next season, can have primary monetary ramifications for the league and have an effect on business spending.
Delaying key dates will allow more time to adjust as the new general continues.
