NBA-style reset shirts will be auctioned for charity

T-shirts worn by NBA players during the first week of the league’s reboot at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando will be auctioned and winnings will be donated to the Player Justice Fund, through Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

According to the report, “Money raised through auction will be donated to a diverse organization of local and national networking organizations as a component of the NBA’s recently announced long-term commitment to selling social justice and economic empowerment in Africa. U.S. Communities in America and Canada.”

The Advisory Committee of the Players Justice Fund “will review investment proposals, expand the program and make investment recommendations to the NBPA Foundation Board of Directors,” Spears said.

The two T-shirts that come with social justice messages like “Black Lives Matter” and “Vote” and those that don’t, some star players like LeBron James and Anthony Davis have selected to show only their names on their T-shirts, will be auctioned off.

Spears said the auction will begin on August 19.
