An analysis

Until the SEC opens the game on September 26, we may have no concept of how the CCA and Big 12 contenders fit those of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and LSU.

What we do know is that the list of championship contenders will continue Clemson when he returns to play.

Clemson won the top 60 votes on the AP ballot and still a first score on the ArrayAlabama coaching ticket leading on a single coach’s ballot Array Dabo Swinney’s team put impressive functionality opposite a much weaker Wake Forest team that controlled only 37 yards on the floor and thirteen points.

The top-ranked team in the country added 561 yards to 330 for the Demon Deacons, who scored 10 of their thirteen numbers in the last quarter.

Clemson will be tested until his first Top 25 game against Miami on October 10. Before that, the Tigers welcome The Citadel and Virginia.

Oklahoma looked just as impressive in his win over FCS Missouri State, where Spencer Rattler totaled 290 air yards and four touchdowns.

The Sooners gave total yards to the visiting Bears, who were overtaken at the beginning of the contest.

Texas produced an equally dominant performance, leading UTEP 59-3 426 yards in Sam Ehlinger’s pass.

The path to the convention’s most sensible 12 grand rankings may be less difficult than expected for Oklahoma and Texas, as the rest of the convention was difficult on Saturday. The state of Kansas, Kansas and the state of Iowa were disappointed and Texas Tech fought to end their victory over Houston Baptist.

Louisiana achieved the highest notable shock on a schedule of the big 12, entering Jack Trice Stadium and taking Iowa State out of the Top 25.

The AP electorate awarded the Ragin’Cajuns more, beating the Sun Belt Conference team to 19th place.

The Sun Belt is one of the few leagues in the organization of five that can gain advantages from the fact that Big Ten and Pac-12 do play.

Seven Group of Five groups, led by UCF and Cincinnati, gave the impression in Sunday’s update of the two polls.
