Alvaro Negredo will return to La Liga with the newly promoted Cadiz after signing a one-year contract with the club.
Former Manchester City, Real Madrid, Seville and Valencia Negredo has spent the two seasons in the United Arab Emirates with Dubai-based Al-Nasr.
The 34-year-old has scored 12 in all competitions in 2019-20, with the Gulf Arab League season canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Negredo will now return to Spain, with Cadiz – who finished moment in the department of Segunda – pronouncing the move, which is for the first 12 months with option to one more year on Thursday.
“I’m up to this new challenge in a historic club like Cadiz,” Negredo said on the club’s website.
“I delight much more after meeting many other clubs and cultures.
“If I’m in Cadiz it’s because the coach sees things in me that I can contribute. I look forward to a wonderful year for the club, the hobby and the wardrobe.”
