The group, led by husband-and-wife team Jonny and Charlotte Heyes, secured the former Chroma Strip on Clarence Street.
Nell’s New York-style main pizzas can be ordered in 14″ and 22″ pies, as well as slices.
The dough is made with British flour sourced from Shipton Mill and is slowly fermented for 36 hours.
Signature toppings include OG cheese with house-made tomato sauce and mozzarella, seasoned with olive oil and Parmesan cheese; the Sidewalk with crushed tomato, garlic, oregano, salsa verde, red onion, vegan ‘nduja, roasted peppers and artichoke; and Barbie
Jonny and Charlotte were the first to move Nell’s out of its former Common bar in Manchester’s North End during the pandemic.
They then established a residency at the Beagle in Chorlton before opening a traditional restaurant on the Kampus estate near Manchester Piccadilly in 2022.
News of the newest comes as the two begin making plans to expand the logo beyond their hometown.
Speaking at the restaurant’s Generation Next event in Manchester last month, Jonny said: “We have plans for Nell’s and plan to get out of the Manchester postcode at some point.
