Council leaders have been presented with plans to redevelop a former pub in Wolverhampton, notorious for its anti-social behaviour and also the scene of a fatal shooting.
Luke Harris, a father of two, was shot dead at Bagot Arms on Newhampton Road West, Whitmore Reans, in March 2008. The pub had a long history of being a hotbed of criminal activity and riots, which ended without delay after the shooting. So, it’s vacant.
Developers Poplars MP are seeking permission to draw up plans to convert the building into 8 small advertising sets on the ground floor, with 3 apartments above and a new gated car park to the rear.
