“Wild About Bungay” features more than 250 color photographs taken by local amateur photographers uploaded to the online page of the same call created a time before Jasmine Lingwood’s death.
Ms. Lingwood, who died in 2012 at the age of 62, was instrumental in refurbishing the Bungay branch of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust with her idea e-book.
Over the years, the website, which was created to obtain photographs for the book, has gained thousands of large-scale photographs of flowers and wildlife in and around the city, as well as the surroundings that transform throughout the seasons.
Now, two of Lingwood’s four brothers, Christopher and Terry Reeve, citizens of Bungay, have taken on the task and are generating the e-book in their memory, and the proceeds will go to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
The couple hope to publish the e-book next month and lately they are going to increase the budget to cover production prices after a JustGiving page is created.
Terry said: “The budget we have is to cover the prices of the book’s design and printing.
“If we can raise this amount, just over 2,000 euros, everything raised from the sale of copies can be donated to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. “
“Our purpose is to sell it on a launch occasion and in Trust stores.
“It will be a proper tribute to Jasmine, who is also a faithful member of Friends of the Earth. “
The e-book will include a ton of amazing photos posted on the website, some via local enthusiast Frances Crickmore.
The brothers hope the e-book will serve as a fitting tribute to their younger sister, who has spent several years running in a committed and committed manner to support, publicize and wildlife.
