A new shot from the stands of the London stadium has left a clearer picture of the conflict between Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp on Saturday. The Liverpool manager and the star striker have refused to clarify the altercation following the draw with West Ham, which well ended their hopes of winning a name in the Premier League.
TNT Sports’ cameras turned to Klopp and Salah when an argument broke out in the final 10 minutes of Saturday’s midday match. Salah was waiting for a belated replacement after being controversially excluded from the starting XI.
Nothing short of a win was needed for Liverpool to retain their name after Wednesday night’s loss to Everton. But they ended in a 2-2 draw, with goals from West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio cutting off the name race for Arsenal and Manchester City.
During the crisis on the touchline, Klopp said in his post-match interview that he and Salah had spoken in the dressing room and that the matter was “resolved” as far as he was concerned.

Salah then revived the hypothesis by walking around the combined zone and telling reporters: “If I speak today, there will be fire. “Now, a video posted on social media shows the incident in a new light, and an icy handshake might as well have done it. been the cause of the situation.
When Klopp called Salah from the bench to take up his position on the touchline, in a position where the fourth official could hold his shirt number in the air, he earned a delay and minimal reaction from the Egyptian when he offered him a handshake.
Salah then shrugged when asked by Klopp why he hadn’t received the same warm welcome before the substitution. At the time, the two men gave the impression of exchanging angry words for the first time, before Klopp turned to fellow substitutes Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez. for a hug and a handshake, and continued to watch the game.

Television cameras filmed the rest of the altercation, as Klopp approached to make a comment that infuriated Salah, who had to be contained by Nunez, a few seconds after their first icy handshake.
Salah then moved several metres down the touchline to be as far away from Klopp as possible, with Gomez and Nunez in the middle. His imaginable arrival may not motivate the change Liverpool needed, and Salah burst straight into the tunnel full-time.
After a hectic month, the Reds now have a full week to cool down before hosting Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
