Newcastle United have announced the permanent signing of Lewis Hall from Chelsea following a successful loan last season.
The 19-year-old signed what the club described as a “long-term” contract at St James’ Park after making 22 appearances this season.
“I’m incredibly proud to be able to build on last season and continue my adventure at Newcastle United,” the fan of the Magpies’ formative years told the club’s official website.
“The fans, the coach and his team, my teammates and everyone at the club have welcomed me so well that I have to thank them for the recognition they have shown in me.
“When you put on the black and white jersey, you don’t get that feeling and betting in front of the most productive enthusiasts in the country is very special to me as a Toon fan.
“I really enjoyed last season and, with the team we have, we will look to advance even further this season. I can’t wait to start. “
Coach Eddie Howe added that the coaching staff was “delighted” with Hall’s progress and “his contribution to the team”.
