Brazil forward Neymar is looking to terminate his contract with Al Hilal and return to Santos instead of a move to MLS, sources have told ESPN.
ESPN reported last week that Neymar, whose contract with Saudi Pro League Club ends in June, is in initial talks with 3 MLS teams, the Chicago Fire.
The Brazilian said in the hereafter that he would like to play a day at the MLS, but he has never declared when.
Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus, recently said that Neymar “could no longer play at the point where we are accustomed” and that the attacker would be registered to play in Saudi’s profulistic league for the part of the time of the season.
Neymar, 32, is recovering from an hamstring that suffered in November in his game of moments after being left aside for a year after a torn acl and a meniscus on his left knee.
Without the normal game time guaranteed in Al Hilal, Reresources told ESPN that Neymar had conversations with Santos for an agreement that would see him return to the club for six months. The skills insist that wages would be an impediment to their return.
Neymar, however, will be negotiating an exit from Al Hilal which would see him get some of the cash out of the contract due to his initial two-year deal with SPL Club.
Santos CEO Pedro Martins gave the impression of ruling out Neymar on loan from Al Hilal. Updated on the possible return of the star, Martins said: “There is nothing progressive, nothing has been closed. The club is tracking Neymar’s scenario to see what his case will look like with his existing club.
“Neymar has a contract with the club. If they resolve it there, we will evaluate how the option to come here can come here. “
