Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar posted on his Instagram account Monday about the racial abuse he said he faced from Marseille’s defense Alvaro González:

The striker won a red card at the end of Sunday’s Ligue 1 match after hitting Gonzalez in the back of the head, one of five players sent off after Marseille’s 1-0 win.
Neymar spoke to the fourth referee about alleged racial abuse as he left the field, and explained his in more detail in a series of tweets directed against Gonzalez:

“Yesterday I rebelled. I was punished with a red one because I was looking to hit someone who had me off, he said on social media on Monday. “I don’t think I could leave without doing anything because I knew the officials wouldn’t. “nothing, I didn’t realize or forget the fact. “
The PSG issued a saying that it would “strongly support” Neymar and “there is no position for racism in society, football or in our lives,” through BBC Sport.
The LFP will determine whether more field is required for players involved in Sunday’s match.
After losing to Bayern Munich in the Champions League final, Paris Saint-Germain struggled to start the Ligue 1 season. The protective champions have lost their first two matches after losing only 3 games in the shortened 2019-20 season.
Neymar is his fourth season with the club after the Brazilian’s departure from Barcelona in 2017.
