Neymar says he abused racially through Marseille player

Paris St Germain (PSG) striker Neymar said he was the target of a racist slur in the French champion’s 1-0 defeat to Olympique de Marseille on Sunday, the BBC reported.

The 28-year-old, one of five players expelled from the attack at Parc des Princes, informed the commentary’s fourth referee as he left the field.

Dotted with fouls everywhere, the crash overflowed in the minute of the time off when a large-scale fight broke out on the ground.

Neymar, Laywin Kurzawa and Leandro Paredes of the PSG, as well as Dario Benedetto and Jordan Amavi of Marseille were expelled after players beat and kicked others.

Neymar, who hit Alvaro Gonzalez in the back of the head, tweeted after the attack that his only remorse was not hitting the Marsely zaguero in the face.
