N’Golo Kante was founded at Chelsea and is in a position to defend itself against Inter Milan’s interest, according to reports.
The Bleus are in the midst of an ordinary recruitment crusade this summer, having obtained the signatures of Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, as well as teenagers Malang Sarr and Xavier Mbuyamba.
The next is Kai Havertz, the club to which they have signed a record of 90 million pounds with Bayer Leverkusen for the midfielder.
His extravagant spending has led to the recommend that player sales might be necessary to fund those firms, and Kante is one of the names mentioned.
The french World Cup winner has suffered injuries in recent times, making 27 appearances in all competitions last season.
But according to Goal, Kante is not pushing to get away from the west London club, despite interest from Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte in meeting with the midfielder.
The Italian coach controlled the 29-year-old for two seasons at Stamford Bridge, winning the Premier League and THE FA Cup together.
The report says that while Kante is settled, a really large offer would possibly appeal to Chelsea.
However, the Serie A team will not pay mega-money fees for players this summer.
Addressing his previous wave of moving activity this week, Lampard warned that expectations will ease given the number of new recruits joining the club.
“We have a concept to check and upload to ourselves, as you deserve to do at a club of our level,” Lampard told Chelsea’s official website.
“We know this was probably not imaginable to us, and we knew the ban and all that speech, and it was vital for me to review to improve the equipment and players we recruited.
“It is so, but we have to be careful not to get too far ahead of ourselves, because we have to give the players time to come and adapt, to the way I need us to play and their teammates.
“But I think the moves we’re doing are positive, so I’m excited and then it’s up to us to put our heads down and paint really hard.”
