FOXBORO, Mass. – The New England Patriots regained their pick in the 2019 draft on Sunday morning.
Open receiver N’Keal Harry returned to practice after missing the last three sessions of the education camp. Yodny Cajuste’s offensive also returned after two missed practices.
Eleven Patriots players were absent on Sunday: corner Stephon Gilmore and Michael Jackson; riders James White, Sony Michel, Lamar Miller and J.J. Taylor; Jeff Thomas Open Receiver; Security of Adrian Phillips; Jake Burt’s tight finish; Beau Allen’s defensive take and defensive finisher Tashawn Bower.
White, Taylor, Jackson and Burt were new absences. Michel and Miller on the asset list/physically unable to perform.
Rex Burkhead and Damien Harris were the only New England players to have as midfielders on Sunday.
This is Gilmore’s third consecutive failed practice. The reigning defensive player of the year would deal with a non-public issue.
The close-out Paul Quessenberry and Xavier Williams’ defensive defense made their Patriots practice debut after signing with the team on Saturday.
The team has yet to climb a kicking moment despite Saturday’s reports that Nick Folk is expected to point to New England.
