WHAT’S AT STAKE?
Clemson hopes to maintain his prestige as an ACC leader while seeking a sixth consecutive championship name and a sixth in a row for school football playoffs. For Virginia, it’s a chance of accurate revenge after the Tigers’ 62-17 victory over the Cavaliers in the ACC name game last December, where Clemson set a championship game record for trouble and 617 yards on offense.
KEY MATCH
Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence vs. Virginia High School: Lawrence released four touchdowns when those groups faced each other last December. Three of them went to Tee Higgins, now with the Cincinnati Bengals. The Cavaliers’ best school is run by protection Brenton Nelson, who missed the name game a season ago and had two interceptions in his team’s first victory over Duke last week.

Virginia: WR Lavel Davis Jr. had four receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns on their school debut. He was the first Cavalier to finish with more than a hundred yards in his first school game.
Clemson: RB Travis Etienne will look to get while watching to win a third consecutive ACC Player of the Year award. Etienne, as Clemson’s top of the headliners, did not play much as the Tigers beat either party in conflict with a combined score of 86-13. Etienne has 170 yards and a landing so far.
