Between fervent supporters and detractors, the rift within Juventus’ fan base continues to widen around Max Allegri.
Bianconeri fans on social media have long launched a crusade against the coach’s dismissal, calling for his dismissal by bombarding the club’s accounts with the hashtag #AllegriOut.
However, others have come to the 56-year-old’s defence, pointing the finger at the hierarchy for failing to provide the coach with a truly competitive squad.
But as Tuttosport points out (via IlBianconero), this department is no longer exclusive to social media, it has now infiltrated the Allianz Stadium.
This rupture manifested itself yesterday in the clash against Atalanta, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
During the match, the Ultras of the Curva Sud once again expressed their support for Allegri. They even unfurled a banner celebrating the coach’s 1,000 points.
However, the rest of the stadium is much less Livorno-friendly.
At the end of the first half, the Bianconeri found themselves trailing. Thus, several sectors of the stadium reacted with whistles and boos against the coach and his players.
However, this was partially overshadowed by the force generated by the Ultras, who decided to cheer on Allegri and his men.
This phenomenon almost repeated itself with the final whistle, although the taunts were just as loud.
As the source points out, that hole will most likely widen if the team doesn’t turn the page and get back to winning tactics sooner rather than later.
It is clear that we are not on the right track. The question is who is to blame for all this. The team is made up of the manager, the players, the coach, etc. But from a technical point of view, I’m sure Allegri has to take up his duty and pave the way for more motivated and courageous people.
