Good night
We’ve adapted well to play Goodison without our hobby, but it’s a scenario we have to get used to.
For now, our purpose is to bring you joy, but it’s for the fans.
I had this fantastic pleasure of feeling the help of the Evertonians my first months here and no stadium is equal without this hobby of the stands.
Besides, we know that when we see you again, it’s because life is a step toward normality.
That’s the best.
I didn’t know how players would react to the environment of those games and was satisfied with the commitment and struggle of each of them.
There is no merit of the house without you here, but we still had effects and those are nine Premier League games in Goodison without defeats.
Due to print delays, I write before our game at Tottenham Hotspur on Monday, but opposing Leicester last week, we bet temporarily and aggressively as the house team.
It’s a quality of the groups that when they press their opponents, they can score targets to reflect that control.
The most productive groups win matches in those periods.
We were effective and scored twice and the moment part showed why you want the opportunities you create.
Leicester their training and after their purpose we put a lot of pressure on them.
Our football at the time was not as smart, but the players were motivated and showed how much they were looking to win the game.
Honestly, I haven’t replaced much in our structure.
I like the power our two forwards give us to protect ourselves from the front, I’ve never had it anywhere else and it’s a great asset for the team, and this formula gives us the most productive chance to score goals.
But you have to be flexible. We had three power stations during the last 25 minutes opposed to Leicester to deal with some problems.
The players have shown me that they can adapt on the field and that gives me the confidence that we can take on other conditions in the matches.
Our focus, spirit and preference have all been and those are qualities that we want to keep in our team.
We welcome Ralph Hasenhuttl, and the Southampton players.
I saw Southampton beat Manchester City on Sunday and this result tells you they’re a team.
But we already knew that. Ralph’s team plays with determination and power and is very well organized, all players are transparent about the main points of their work.
There are many things at stake and each and every game we need to get closer to looking like the most productive of ourselves.
Our ambition is to play in Europe next season and many are fighting for this goal.
We will continue to review our purpose until the last kick this season and due to the schedule, everything can be replaced quickly.
If we succeed in Europe, it will be a step for Everton, but this is not directly related to our long-term plans.
The replacement would be in our preseason because of qualifying matches, that’s all.
Playing in the Europa League is a possibility for players to revel in another festival and demanding new situations and grow the Club and that’s why we are motivated to qualify.
Tom Davies had played Premier League matches before Monday against Tottenham.
He turned 22 last week and already achieving a hundred games in this department is a wonderful achievement.
Tom plays with the adult age of an experienced footballer. he is humble, with the attitude of not being informed and improving, and we hope he can play many more games with Everton.
Enjoy the game,
Carlo.
