It is transparent that Thomas Tuchel has replaced both Chelsea in terms of taste for play and even workers’ bodies compared to Frank Lampard, but the result is pretty much the same.
Obviously you can’t judge him after a few days at the helm and it looks like he’s passing his concepts on to the team, but that doesn’t hide the fact that they tied 0-0 with the wolves tonight.
It was a statistics game because Chelsea ruled ownership and maximum of the statistical lines deemed important, however, they only took one point from the game and will have to do so in the future.
There are some positives to keep in mind in the fact that you can see that you have a tactical plan, so it’s a big change, but time will tell if you’re just taking the time for everything to fit.
Football wouldn’t be an exaggerated touch on the part of fans, so Chelsea’s Twitter is a bit revealing tonight:

It will be attractive to see how this team evolves in the coming weeks in terms of the ability to score goals and split teams, but there are at least some promising early signals.
