The University of Notre Dame began evaluating its student-athletes in June. A series of tests continued in July. Now, in August, we have more of the same, as football players and coaches continue to be evaluated for COVID-19.
Notre Dame released a new logo update on Wednesday and, like things from day one, is a promising and percentage-positive update with Irish fans Illustrated Fighting.
“A total of 117 Students-Athletes from Notre Dame gained control of COVID-19 on Monday, August 10. Of those 117, two tested positive for COVID-19, according to university doctor Dr. Matt Leiszler. Of the two student-athletes who tested positive, one was symptomatic and the other asymptomatic. Both players are remote and their parents have been informed. In addition, thanks to tactile research, seven student football athletes are quarantined, all asymptomatic today. In addition, 43 member staff members (trainers, sports coaches, etc.) underwent COVI-19 controls. All staff members tested negative. Overall, Notre Dame administered 619 COVID-19 controls to football program members and sports staff. 4 positive controls (99.35%). Two student-athletes have recovered.”
Notre Dame is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 12, ahead of the 2020 football season. Beyond that, the football season will begin in September. Let’s take a look at Notre Dame’s full program.
September 12 vs. Duke (Notre Dame, Indiana)
September 26 in Wake Forest (Charlotte, North Carolina)
October 10 vs. Florida State (Notre Dame, Indiana)
October 17 vs. Louisville (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Things will end with an ACC championship, which is recently scheduled for Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. As of today, the game is scheduled for December 12 or 19. The two most sensitive groups will rely only on the win percentage of the convention, as there will be no two separate divisions at this year’s convention. The semi-final games of the school football playoffs are scheduled for January 1, 2021. It’s been unknown lately. The 2021 National College Football Championship will be played on January 11, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
