The University of Notre Dame began controlling its student-athletes in June. A series of checks continued in July. Now, in August, we have more of the same, as football players and coaches continue to be reviewed to detect COVID-19. The recent maximum control before today took place on August 12.

“Given the University’s resolution tuesday to move to distance education until at least September 2, and with great caution, Notre Dame’s football program has undergone two rounds of COVID-19 testing this week. A total of 232 tests were given to students – athletes: Of those 232 tests, five student-athletes tested positive, according to university doctor Dr. Matt Leiszler.
“The five student-athletes assessed are remote and their parents have been informed.
“Thanks to tactile search protocols, six student-athletes have been quarantined.
“Since testing began on June 18, Notre Dame has administered 851 COVID-19 tests to football program members, with nine positive tests (98.9% negativity rate). Of the nine positive tests, two were from the evidence in the initial report.
In an ongoing effort to provide an environment, Notre Dame Football will not practice Thursday and will administer an additional series of COVID-19 tests to student-athletes on Friday morning. The Irish will resume the practice on the advice of their medical staff. “

Things will end with an ACC Championship, which is recently scheduled for Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. As of today, the game is scheduled for December 12 or 19. The two most sensitive groups will be founded only on the win percentage of the convention, as there will be no two separate divisions at this year’s convention. The semi-final games of the school football playoffs are scheduled for January 1, 2021. It’s been unknown lately. The 2021 National College Football Championship will be played on January 11, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
