The latest news and notes similar to COVID-19 have been through the University of Notre Dame football team. As always, Irish Illustrated brings you an update.
“A total of 287 COVID-19 tests were administered to Notre Dame Football student-athletes last week (Monday through Sunday). Of the 287, there were two positive tests, according to the university doctor, Dr. Matt Leiszler. two student-athletes are remote and no close contact has been identified.
As of Monday, October 5, a total of 7 players have been isolated lately, with another 4 quarantined after being known as contacts.
Notre Dame presented the 2020 season in mid-September. The Fighting Irish beat the Duke Blue Devils 27-13 before defeating South Florida 52-0. That’s what the rest of the calendar looks like.
September 12 against Duke (Notre Dame, Indiana) – Victory: 27-13
September 19 vs. South Florida (Notre Dame, Indiana) – Victory: 52-0
October 10 vs. Florida State (Notre Dame, Indiana)
October 17 vs. Louisville (Notre Dame, Indiana)
October 24 in Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)
October 31 at Georgia Tech (Atlanta, Georgia)
November 7 vs. Clemson (Notre Dame, Indiana)
November 14 at Boston College (Chestnut Hill, Mass. )
November 27 in North Carolina (Chapel Hill, North Carolina – Friday night)
December 5 vs. Syracuse (Notre Dame, Indiana)
December 12 at Wake Forest (Winston-Salem, N. C. )
Things will end with an ACC championship, which is recently scheduled for Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. As of today, the setting is scheduled for December 12 or 19. , as there will be no two separate divisions at this year’s convention. The semi-finals of the school football playoffs are scheduled for January 1, 2021. Lately it’s unknown. The 2021 National College Football Championship will be played on January 11, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
