“A total of 196 COVID-19 tests were administered to Notre Dame football students-athletes the following week.All 196 tests were negative, according to college doctor Dr. Matt Leiszler.
“One of the players in the past known in last week’s report was quarantined because the touch test test tested positive for COVID-19, but has since recovered.
“Notre Dame lately has no active COVID-19 instances.
“Since testing began on June 18, Notre Dame Football has had 12 positive tests, generating a negative overall rate of 99.1%.”
