Late goals from Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson helped Chelsea win 3-2 in the Premier League at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, leaving the hosts mathematically still in danger of relegation.
Mykhailo Mudryk also scored for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who are seventh in the table with two games remaining. Forest are in 17th place and three points ahead of Luton Town, 18th, but with a much higher goal difference that ensures their survival in the Premier League. Forest and Luton have a game to play.
Chelsea got on the scoreboard in the 6th minute when Cole Palmer sent the ball to Mudryk, who fired into the back corner. Goals from Willy Boly in the 16th minute and Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 74th created a carnival atmosphere at the City Ground.
