Odsonne Edouard returns to Glasgow this weekend to attend Celtic’s Player of the Year celebrations at the Hydro.
The Bhoys made the announcement earlier this week and the Crystal Palace striker set to hand out one of the awards along with other former favourites such as Giorgos Samaras and Neil Lennon.
Edouard, affectionately nicknamed “French Eddy” by fans, was an icon in his time with the Bhoys. He scored 88 goals in 179 games before joining the English Premier League with big money.
It will be warmly welcomed by the thousands of people who will take part in the wonderful Hydro event.
Today, on the social network X, he conveyed that he is excited to undertake the return to the north, saying: “It’s an honor to have those legends. “

Edouard will travel to Wolves on Saturday with his Palace side before travelling to Scotland for Sunday night’s big show.
Martin O’Neill, Chris Sutton, Ronny Deila and Aiden McGeady will present the trophies.
Matt O’Riley is the overwhelming favourite to get the Player of the Year vote along with categories including Goal of the Season, Young Player of the Year and Celtic FC Women’s Player of the Year.
Awards for Legendary Player of the Year and Legendary Goal of the Season, selected from the past 20 years’ winners, will be announced.
Celtic players will also decide who will be the Player of the Year, which is a special moment for the winner.
The awards rite will be a much more festive affair if the Bhoys manage to pull off victory against Rangers at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon.
Three more numbers and the next night they will be in full swing at the stadium. Bring!
