Chelsea have reportedly made an offer to the defence of Atletico Madrid José Giménez.
Spanish store Don Balon says Giménez has an offer for Les Bleus, in what could end up being a sale value of around 70 million euros.
Giménez is one of the central defenders in Europe right now and Don Balon says he is a top target for Frank Lampard’s team, which makes sense after his poor defensive record last season.
Things have progressed a little this quarter, but Thiago Silva, 36, can’t in fact be noticed as a long-term option for the club, despite his clever start in life at Stamford Bridge.
Giménez can be ideal for entering as a long-term option in the central defence for Chelsea, with its formidable form in La Liga and the Champions League which seems to be able to do a task in the Premier League.
The Uruguayan foreigner would be a fundamental improvement for unconvincing artists such as Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, and could take Chelsea to the most sensible level.
Lampard’s team is still a little short of claiming the biggest trophies of the match, but it’s not too far away now.
