Tottenham and Southampton tonight showed the signings of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Kyle Walker-Peters respectively.
Reports linking Danish midfielder Hojbjerg to north London have been endemic for several weeks.
The 25-year-old has been running at St. Mary’s for 4 years since arriving in Southampton from Bayern Munich.
Recent seasons saw Hojbjerg go on to play an increasingly prominent role in the Saints’ ranks in the middle of the park, eventually resulting in Ralph Hasenhuttl naming the midfielder his side’s new captain in December of 2018.
After betting on Hasenhuttl again for the maximum of the latter campaign, between Hojbjerg and Southampton they have begun to get worse in recent months.
This eventually led to the Dane getting rid of Southampton’s captaincy, due to his refusal to put a pen on paper in a new contract.

The move, in turn, raised the hypothesis that Hojbjerg is about to spend this summer, with players like Everton and Manchester City as possible touchdown sites.
It’s some other Premier League team, however, long regarded as the favorites of former Bayern youth.
The one in question? Tottenham.
José Mourinho is known to be looking for reinforcements at the base of his team’s midfield this summer, with Hojbjerg obviously seen as the ideal complement.
And, as mentioned above, the head of the Spurs now officially has his man.
In an announcement on the club’s social media platforms tonight, Northern Londoners showed Hojbjerg’s arrival on a five-year contract.
Tottenham is said to have paid about 17 million pounds to secure the Danish’s signature.

Hojbjerg’s move, however, is the only deal to be closed today between the Spurs and Southampton.
In some other announcement tonight, Kyle Walker-Peters’ permanent stay at St. Mary’s was also confirmed.
England’s side Walker-Peters was inspired on loan with Ralph Hasenhuttl at the time of last season, when the Saints took advantage of Tottenham Hojbjerg’s interest in reaching an agreement by 23-year-old players. Old.
Walker-Peters, who allegedly reimbursed Southampton with a payment of approximately 12 million pounds, signed a contract until 2025.
