France Football demonstrated this afternoon that the Ballon d’Or will be delivered this year, due to the “exceptional circumstances” caused by the Pandemic Covid-19.
The Golden Ball, or “golden ball”, is considered the benchmark for individual distinctions in football.
Since its inception in 1956, a total number of the game’s most important players have been winners.
In recent years, of course, I have noticed that two of the players who once walked the field, in the form of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, dominate the debates, last year’s rite noticed that the latter was crowned with a sixth record.
However, as mentioned above, it turns out that it will be some time before a successor to the Talisman of Barcelona is crowned.
This follows the confirmation this afternoon that the 2020 Ballon d’Or will be distributed.
On its online page and on social media platforms, France Football, guilty of awarding the prize, announced that:
“For the first time in its history, which began in 1956, the French Ballon d’Or will not be delivered in 2020 due to the lack of a sufficiently good points playing field.”
There are a number of reasons for the decision, the main one is:
“Because such a singular year cannot — and does not deserve — be treated as a year. In case of doubt, it is better to abstain than to persist.”
In exceptional circumstances. For the first time in its history, which began in 1956, the #Ballondor France Football will not be awarded in 2020, due to a lack of sufficient fair conditions.

Contributions to this club season
Lewandowski: 57 (6 penalties) Messi: (5 penalties) Ronaldo: 37 (12 penalties)
The Golden Ball race was between Messi or Lewandowski if I’m honest. Ronaldo will not be included in this list. He has 25 purpose contributions without pens.

It is enough to believe that Bayern Munich won the Champions League and that Lewandowski scored in each and every eighth of the finals that include the final, having already had a brilliant singles season.
I’d feel sorry for him. That would mean a guaranteed Ballon d’Or.
