AC Milan has ended despite the fact that everything ended some January movement activities, but in the form of a sale, with Luka Romero leaving a permanent agreement.
He had pretended for weeks that Milan might try to taper Romero’s loan to Deportivo Alavés, which a 12-month deal with an option to buy agreed in the summer. The winger had playing time and links with other clubs.
Now, Milan have officially announced the early dismissal of Romero’s loan with Alaves, adding that the former Lazio guy has been transferred permanently to Cruz Azul FC. The club also wishes Luka the full length of his career in the long term.
In his X profile, Cruz Azul also showed the arrival of the end of 20 years, which represented Argentina to point U20, but in fact he was born in Mexico, which means that it is eligible to play for them.
Romero departs having signed for Milan on a free transfer (for a development fee) from Lazio in the 2023 summer window but without ever having really made a mark, barring some impressive preseason games. The fee is widely reported to be in the region of €3.5m.
