It is confirmed: the Extraordinary General Assembly of FC Porto will be held, scheduled for next week, on November 20, at 9 p. m.
The confirmation was made this Saturday, after an official communication on the FC Porto website and in the presidency of the President of the General Assembly, José Lourenço Pinto.
In no document is it explained that “at the request” of the “management” of FC Porto and I have been in contact with the resolution of the Board of Governors, the last fifth fieira, to withdraw the proposal for the revision of the statutes, convened through the Extraordinary General Assembly “by manifesto for lack of purpose”.
“At the request of the Ex. ma Direção du Futebol Clube do Porto, before the deliberation of the Superior Council of the existing 16 months, which must withdraw from the proposal regarding the approval of the new Statutes of the Club – Bridge 1 of the Convocation of 3. 11. 2023 -, I call the Continuação da Assembleia Geral Extraorria previously designated for the 20th of the month of summer, at nine o’clock at night, at the Pavilhão Dragão Arena, located in Via Futebol Clube do Porto, in Porto, by manifesto for lack of object,” reads an official statement.
It is on record that the Extraordinary General Assembly of the last week of the week, on the 13th, marked scenes of violence, at the same time as suspending and revoking.
There are several issues of amending the statutes of the electoral state that will take position in 2024.
