Premier League AFC Bournemouth have officially announced the permanent signing of 19-year-old Juventus defender Dean Huijsen, who spent the second part of the 2023-24 campaign on loan with Roma.
Juventus sold the teenager for an initial payment of €15. 2 million with up to €3 million in bonuses, for a global package of close to €18 million.
Bournemouth have shown that Huijsen has signed a “long-term” contract, which would last six seasons until the summer of 2030, according to BBC Sport.
“We are very pleased to sign a player of such caliber on a long-term contract,” Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said in a message posted on the club’s website.
“Dean has a very exciting prospect and we’re all excited to see where his adventure with the club will take us.

Huijsen arrives at Bournemouth after 3 seasons with Juventus. The Bianconeri will take him to Italy from Málaga in 2021.
After a brief spell in the club’s U17 team, Huijsen was temporarily promoted to the U19 team and then to the Next Gen team, where he made 23 Serie C appearances in 2023. He will then make his debut in Juve’s senior team against Milan in October. 2023.
