COLUMBUS – The Ohio Athletic Association of High Schools has completed the main points of several upcoming state tournaments with children and women of football staying in Columbus, but also women’s volleyball venues.
In addition, ohSAA will use unbiased venues for state semifinals and championship matches, and the places we’ll decide next week.
In partnership with Columbus Crew SC, OHSAA Women’s and Men’s Soccer Championship matches will be held again at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus. 14. OHSAA praised Crew SC for working with OHSAA to allow the latter to remain at MAPFRE Stadium, where they have been since 1999.

The next state volleyball tournament will take a break from the Nutter Center at Wright State University and will be held through Vandalia Butler High School. Friday, November 13: Division II semi-finals at 10 a. m. and 1 p. m. ; Division I semi-finals at 7 p. m.
Saturday, November 1: Division IV semi-finals at 10 a. m. and 1 p. m. ; Division III semi-finals at 7 p. m.
Sunday, November 15: Division II final at nine a. m. ; Division I final at 12:30 p. m. ; End of Division IV at four p. m. ; Division III final at 7:30 p. m.
On October 22, OHSAA informed schools that the top-ranked team will be the place in the regional final, possibly the stadium of the top-ranked team or somewhere else of their choice. Division I regional finals will be held on Friday, October 30, while Division II-VII regional finals will be held from 6 to 7 November.
Later this week, OHSAA will announce how the regions will be matched for the Division I state semifinals. Next week, OHSAA will announce how the regions will be matched for the state semifinals in Division II to VII. and state championship games. Sites will be announced as soon as possible. It should be noted that many classic host sites should not serve as impartial sites due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
