When Ohio State Football signed 2025 state quarterback Tavien St. Clearly, he was not well classified in the recruitment services.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound was placed first in the 300 through the 247Sports Composite, which still puts it in the 4-star range. Fast forward to now, and the long-term Buckeyes signalman continues to move north based on recruiting sites.
On3 recently updated its class of 2025 and St. John. Clair has raised the grades again. With the change, he is now a 5-star consensus prospect, as he is the No. 2 player with 247Sports, No. 11 with Rivals, No. 15 on ESPN, and No. 15 on On3. His composite rating of 247Sports places him 9th overall.

The other two Buckeyes who have the consensus score of 5 stars are cornerbacks Na’eem Offord and Devin Sanchez. This is shaping up to be exceptional elegance for the Buckeyes in 2025, and there’s still room for more elite players.
