Olympique Lyonnais has announced that Pierre Sage, who has been appointed interim coach, will continue his project with the Lyon team until the end of the season.
“Following his interim appointment on 30 November, Olympique Lyonnais must extend Pierre Sage’s role in the professional team until the end of the season. The 44-year-old has played a vital role in OL’s recent sporting recovery, from the relegation zone thanks to 3 consecutive victories obtained at the end of 2023 and recently qualified for the 16th finals of the Coupe de France. La Duchère and Red Star, Pierre Sage was appointed director of the Academy in June 2023, after a first spell at the club between 2019 and 2022 in the U17 category,” reads the OL press release.
