‘On the Spurs pitch’. . . Tottenham: other people are not satisfied with the £7 million West Ham player

Michail Antonio and Callum Wilson are temporarily two of the most outspoken footballers in the Premier League.

The two forwards are co-hosts of the BBC’s Footballer’s Football podcast, and it’s fair to say they take no prisoners when it comes to talking about some of their fellow professionals.

Earlier this season, both men took aim at Tottenham’s Richarlison for his lack of goals and, according to Tom Barclay, speaking on The Tottenham Way podcast, those comments have not been well received in Spurs’ camp.

Barclay has shared what he knows about Spurs’ prospects on Wilson and the £7m West Ham man.

“My ambitious prediction is that Richarlison will surpass Callum Wilson and Michail Antonio, the two players who made fun of him and who seem to have been badly beaten in the Spurs camp. “They are combined targets and I think Richarlison will play enough games and score enough goals. ” Barclay said.

We’re not surprised to hear that people at Tottenham aren’t happy with these two.

We’re entering a new era of football media where players themselves have platforms like podcasts and social media to express their fair opinions, and Antonio and Wilson are afraid to be a little debatable at times.

By doing so, you’ll make more enemies than friends, and that can also lead to a bit of pain on the field.

It’s not that Guglielmo Vicario and Callum Wilson tried a bit after Spurs’ last meeting with Newcastle, and we have to wonder if the comments about Richarlison led Vicario to investigate and liquidate Wilson.

In fact, it’s appealing to hear that Wilson and Antonio’s comments haven’t been well earned at Tottenham, and maybe they’ll think twice before talking about other players on their podcast going forward.
