The Argentine’s tumultuous career at City seemed about to end when the club proved it would take steps for allegedly refusing to come and see a 2-0 deficit against the German giants to the right.

Furious City manager Roberto Mancini said that, as far as he was concerned, former Manchester United striker Tevez had “finished” at City.

Mancini maintained his position after the incident, despite the Argentine agent’s insistence that the incident can be attributed to a “translation error”, and the club officially postponed the striker for two weeks.

City’s decision to open an anti-player investigation, focused on breach of contract, also meant that Tevez would be forced to work out at the club, a scenario that eventually resulted in a heavy fine and staying away.

However, having failed to secure a departure from City, Tevez nevertheless apologized absolutely and returned to the first team as a replacement against Chelsea in March 2012, also a component of the name’s triumph over QPR.

Early the following year, Tevez noted his goal of finishing his career with a return to Boca Juniors. In June 2013, his colorful career at City nevertheless came to an end when he signed a three-year contract with Juventus.
