David Ornstein has moved to quell rumours that Marcus Rashford has turned away the Saudis, while reports in Italy claim AC Milan need to nominate the Manchester United striker.
Reports claimed that the UTD guy was in a position to pay attention to Rashford in a while before the striker went off on his own hands. Journalist Henry Winter that he is looking for a “new challenge” and that there will be “no feelings” when he leaves United, which probably seems to take place in 2025.
The winger has played for United since Dec. 12. Rashford has been ruled out of the team for 3 successive games after frustrating Ruben Amorim with his behaviour around Carrington.
He returned to the team for the 2-0 loss to Newcastle United, in the absence of Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool through illness.
There are a multitude of clubs that have been keeping an eye on Rashford as United prepare for life without their academy graduate.
On Thursday, he advised that Rashford had fully governed a move to Saudi Arabia.
But Ornstein dispelled that myth, with the Saudis still weighing whether to act on their 27-year-old.
“In January, it will be very difficult,” he said (through the men). “He signed a big contract in 2023 that runs until 2028. He earns more than £325,000 per week. Who’s going to be willing to take that?
“I was told that reports of Saudi Arabia’s rejected offers are not accurate. Saudi Arabia went back to this and said there were no offers.
“There have been reports of a breaker deal with Victor Osimhen if he is brought back to Napoli from Galatasaray, but I think it will be very tricky, if possible. “
The Sounders team of MLS Seattle has reportedly had internal discussions about launching an ambitious move for Rashford. Although the United States is a horny destination for players, it is very difficult to see Rashford going there at this level of his career.
Alternatively, the Englishman can stay in Europe by going to Milan. On Saturday, news broke that the Serie A giants have been “having talks” with United about a possible offer for Rashford.
According to the other most recent people from the Italian release Calciomercato, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, now Milan’s senior adviser, has approved Rashford’s capture.
Ibrahimovic is a big fan of Rashford after the pair played in combination at United, and he loves a reunion.
The solution would most likely be an initial loan that includes the option that Milan will purchase at a later date. However, the Rossoneri would want United to pay some of Rashford’s big salaries on loan spells.
Meanwhile, Ornstein hinted that United Starlet Kobbie Mainoo may end up on the Move market in the future.
United and Mainoo began contract talks in September, however, a deal is not close to being reached.
Ornstein named the midfielder because United can sell for a natural profit, but only if a new deal proves impossible.
As for the newcomers at Old Trafford, United have been ready to take a movement war with rivals Manchester City.
The two Manchester clubs are planning talks for Braga defender Sikou Niakate, to report.
Braga needs £25m for the 25-year-old Malian foreigner after learning that city boss Pep Guardiola is keen to get it.
